Driving own studies and the benefits of research

As an art student, researching is very important part of my study. Art and design is something that constantly changing. To stay up to date, I research my desired topic. For example, for basic design project, I research various types design and logos because its a class about problem solving through designing. Where as, for art history class, I try to find terms and historical images, terms and documents on the WIkipedia, encyclopedia etc various websites. Vast, it is not easy to get a desired result online. Sometimes I get search engine's result within two second but nothing to the point and useful.For example, when I am searching for food exhibition in the U.S, search engines shows enormous result. Therefore, according to me “educated search” is important. Educated search is not just a mere search; it should have keyword, correct wildcard and reliable database. Since, information has to be correct and factual for educational purpose. Databases like Encyclopedia Britannica, wilsonweb, YLEM are consistent and trustworthy. A proper search makes a research interesting, easy and time saving.
